GenderGender was complicated
for me at least.

Unlike the others
it wasn't so black
or white
more like
a very large scale
filled with shades
of confusion.

Male?
Not exactly.

Female?
Not quite.

I wanted the
broad shoulders
that men obtained
by nature. I ached
for the clavicles
that showed whether
you were average
or thin.
I desired the chiseled jaw,
the strong arms
that could make
any girl feel
safe,
the deep voice that
could make her
swoon with
the right words.

However,
I longed for
the graceful walk
that females could master
so naturally.

that could make any man
question his feelings.

And with it shared my feelings.
I've tried to have it other ways,
But they seem to be congealing.

who she was
or what she could do
when i met her.....

laughs so hard at lunch
